La caja contiene PLANET OF THE APES (1968), BENEATH THE PLANET OF THE APES (1970), ESCAPE FROM THE PLANET OF THE APES (1971), CONQUEST OF THE PLANET OF THE APES ( 1972) y BATALLA POR EL PLANETA DE LOS APES (1973). En colaboración con Varese Sarabande, La-La Land Récords, ha reclutado al co-productor de este box set, Mike Matessino para restaurar, mezclar y remasterizar meticulosamente estas importantes partituras de las películas compuestas por Jerry Goldsmith (THE OMEN, STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE, ALIEN) , Leonard Rosenman (EAST OF EDEN, STAR TREK IV: THE VOYAGE HOME, FANTASTIC VOYAGE) y Tom Scott (UPTOWN SATURDAY NIGHT, STIR CRAZY, THE SURE THING).
Producido por Matessino y Neil S. Bulk, productor ejecutivo para 20th Century Fox por Nick Redman y producido para el ejecutivo para Varse Sarabande por Cary Mansfield y Bryon Davis, este set de lujo fue restaurado y remasterizado a partir de elementos originales de las cintas del estudio, lo que resulta un sonido mejorado digno del gran César. También se incluye la presentación original del álbum PLANET OF THE APES de 1968, actualizada sónicamente a través de esta restauración.
